With these practices you can help to alleviate physical discomfort, give yourself a much-deserved short break from your busy tasks, enjoy a quiet moment, calm your nervous system, and balance stress and anxiety. Mind and body work closely together, and by fostering harmony and ease within one, the other quietly follows.
This series is packed with different practices and is inspired by my own daily challenges in ensuring I take sufficient time for myself to balance stress, tiredness and juggling endless responsibilities. I've learned over the years that no matter how stressed or overwhelming things can get, there are bitesized practices that we can dip into to help restore a sense of calm, grounding, resilience, ease or a mixture of all of those.
If like me you feel that you sometimes struggle to find time for yourself, join me and let's find time together, starting with 2-5 MINUTES every day. I guide you through a mixture of slow movement, breathing and mindfulness for a few minutes each day, to help you ground, calm, gently re-energise and cultivate a sense of wellbeing. You'll find me in different scenarios all around the house, and you can do the same wherever you are with your own schedule. You don't always need to have a mat. Sometimes a kitchen countertop will suffice!
This was originally filmed as a live series, and I've now packaged it to give others the opportunity to start or continue to explore a journey of self-care at their own pace.
